These tiles seem to be some sort of puzzle, on the floor of MIT building 56. The photos are in order along the hallway from west to east. The photos were taken facing north, so the left side of the photo is the west side. Partway down the hallway, on a panel describing historic pranks, is what looks like a key. A photo of this is at the bottom of the page. I made some binary summaries of the tiles on the right, recording white as 1 and black as zero.
